Mighty B!
by katie
New episodes of the Mighty B! on Nickelodeon start on the 21st this month! Both David and I worked on this show…David (of ‘Sorry Guys’ fame) did storyboard revisions, special poses, and animated important and difficult scenes. I storyboarded 4 four of the new episodes. Here’s a preview of the new season! You can see snipets of my first episode in there!

Katie did some of the BEST episodes!!!! I tried to sneak in as much as animation as possible within the time restraints, but i’d be doing it on top of the regular revision work. If i had it my i’d animate it all here. hahhaa. It’s been fun working on it.

LOVE the Mighty B! This is all very exciting. Thanks again Katie, for making Wednesday the best day of the week.
…and to think, before Dumm, I used to like Tuesday best. Man, was I ignorant.

Wow, so which scenes did you animate Dave?

Oh yay! More Mighty B!

When I first started reading dumm I had no idea you guys do, like, EVERYTHING.

Thanks guys! I’m glad people seem into it. I hope everyone watches the new episodes.
Jeremy- David isn’t an asshole, he’s a modest, talented, and fun person.
TTB- David could answer you better, but one is the scene in the beginning when Bessie is running on the bed- he finessed that scene and added all the cool poses and inbetweens when she flails towards camera and slams into the wall. He did a bunch of really fluid and cartoony animation and drawings.
Lusca- ha ha, what do you mean?
September 16th, 2009 at 7:47 pm
Haha yeah I had a feeling dave did the bed scene. Funny how you can tell someones animating style after a while. Good job to both of you.

I mean I was really surprised when I found out that- in just about every cartoon I’ve liked in the past few years, there’s been a couple or more Dumm artists making the storyboards and pulling it together. In a way I’ve been enjoying you guys and your work a lot longer than I thought!
I mean I don’t want to flatter anyone too much, but you guys really do make up the better part of animation today. It’s like you’re FAMOUS or something!

My daughter and I adore this show! It’s everything a cartoon should be. LOVE YOU!

I secretly like this show lol.
It has that “nickeloden studio” feel that I liked from shows like Chalk Zone, Ren and Stimpy, and my life as a teenage robot

greatest cartoon of all time. What’s that song in the background of the trailer?

I love that show! There needs to be more like it. It looks a bit different from the first session. I bet there’s been a lot of improvement (that’s saying a lot since it was great to begin with).
