No Mo’ Ho…

After having done the Earthward-Ho! comic for over a year now, it’s time to call it quits. It’s been a ton of fun here at Dumm Comics but I’ve always wanted to make my own short cartoon. Unfortunately, there’s no way I can do both, plus work full time and have a family life. The good news is, there are four more Ho’s (including this one) left, plus an amazing new artist lined up to replace me on Fridays, AND a short cartoon which hopefully will appear right here on this very site in the not too distant future.
So, thanks to everyone for your comments, criticisms, and support, and thanks to Gabe, Katie, Luke, Sean, Ricky, David, and Matt for making Dumm Comics such a great project to be a part of.

I’m really sorry to hear that Earthward Ho! will be ending soon, but I also really look forward to having you make some animated shorts!

Well of the original artists you’d have to be the next to leave simply because you’re the only ones left, right? So with some bizarre circular logic you could make it into a tautology.
Fred, I’ll definitely miss Earthward Ho!. It was an excellent series. I just hope the last four wrap it up in a sufficiently silly way. Thanks for doing it while you did.

I surely will miss all of Sam’s wacky faces. Truly, no-one draws faces like you, Fred. Make sure you come back to your Dumm fans every now and then to show off your latest non-comic masterpieces, eh?

Aw. When I first discovered Dumm, I didn’t quite “get” Earthward Ho.. but it’s really grown on me since, particularly the last month’s worth. Hope it goes out with a great Big Bang!

Huh, I thought this week’s strip looked like it was bringing us towards an end. Well, good luck with the short, I’m sure I’ll be hearing about it when it’s done!

Fred. I’ve read your comic every week for over a year. Let me know when the short is done and I’ll be the first to download it and enjoy it. Good luck man.
