For those who survived the holidays, here’s a cool old news story from the 80s about how playing Dungeons and Dragons will cause you to rape and murder your friends.
Unfortunately, I was a bit too young to experience the height of D&D’s popularity. I was introduced to the game in the early 90’s when I found it in my older brother’s closet. I instantly loved it, and subsequently forced all my friends to play it. Yet, none of them were into it enough to satisfy my craving, so I never got my fill. Maybe that’s why I’m stuck with my adolesant fascination of all things sword’s and sorcery.
I like this.

Niko Anesti will be taking over the 1930 Nightmare Theatre, Monday and Tuesday of next week, so I can get a little holiday R&R. But I’ll be back on Friday with an all new comic for New Year’s Day! Merry Christmas everybody!
Well, Katie and I are off on our holiday adventure. Traveling starts tomorrow. I’m not big on the whole Xmas thing myself, but I suppose if I force myself to look on the bright-side, I can recognize that there are a few magical highlights to this time of year. For one, we get to see cool winter elves, like the one Katie drew below (click it to see more). And secondly…well, actually that’s about it. Have a happy holidays, Dumm readers. I hope to see you on the other side.
however, that year happens to be 1972…

Be sure to check back Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of next week, when Kimbo will be back with all-new Xmas adventures, including “KIMBO’S KRISTMAS KAROL”, an epic re-telling of the immortal Charles Dickens classic!
No rest for the Wicked!

Quick! Now head on over to Kali’s Blog to check out today’s second Kimbo comic!
Kali Fontecchio attended Otis College of art + design and has worked for Warner Brothers, Six Point Harness, and John K Enterprises.
Super special thanks to Kali for drawing one of my favorite guest spots ever.
I should have plugged this here earlier, because most of it has sold already, but you can still grab some of the remaining Katie drawings if you act now! It’s not very often that Katie goes through her sketchbooks and finds a few amazing pieces to put up for sale, so this is a semi-rare opportunity. If you’re looking for some awesome original artwork for the holidays, I suggest you have a look at Katie’s Etsy Store.

Now that Kimbo and Vespula are dead forever, let’s honor them with TWO SUPER SPECIAL GUEST COMICS! That’s right! There will be not ONE, but TWO incredible guest comics by a SUPER-SECRET ARTIST.
Who will it be? Come back Wednesday and find out!
(Oh, the suspense!)
