Thank You Tara!

Saturday, September 13th, 2008 by katie

Well, the saga of Dr. Scoops has come to an end (For now). But we’re sure that’s not the last you’ve seen of him, or the last you’ve seen of the talented Tara Billinger! Watch for Tara and Chris Reilly’s comic book “Adora and the Electric Elephant” later this year, from Slave Labor Graphics!

UFO SIGHTINGS!!!

Thursday, September 11th, 2008 by Fred

FACT: 15% of all Americans have been witness to a UFO

FACT: The greatest percentage of UFO sightings is NOT by “uneducated hillbillies in America” The truth is very credible witnesses; astronauts, policemen, presidents, and pilots from several countries across the world have seen UFOs.

FACT: UFOs have been reported since the mid 1800’s and are NOT a recent phenomenon.

FACT: “THEY ARE FOR REAL!”

Okay, so that last “fact” may or may not be true, but Sam is certainly a believer.

Unfortunately, I have never personally seen a UFO….but, for the sake of myself and those who haven’t been fortunate enough to be in the “right place at the right time” (or wrong place at the wrong time, depending on how you see it) please share your encounter here… http://www.dummcomics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=47

If you can beat “LamartheRevengers” story you will win an original “Earthward-Ho!” signed drawing!

So Post Away!

Ricky’s Latest Endeavor

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 by Ricky

What the heck are those odd-looking characters doing on Dumm Comics, you ask? Well, they are here to announce the premiere of Seth MacFarlane’s Calvalcade of Cartoon Comedy. It’s a new series of little animated skits, (not unlike comic strips) and new ones premiere every week on www.sethcomedy.com.

I personally storyboarded almost 50% of the entire series! Watch for special Burger King Intro “bumpers”, directed by yours truly. So go and check it out, and give me your honest opinion! You know I want to hear it.

The Butt is Back!

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 by luke

Surprise surprise! All of your praise and begging and worship have not fallen on deaf ears. Your mournful prayers to Crom were not in vain. Your deepest wishes and desires have been heard and granted! That’s right, Skadi’s powerful barbarian regenerative properties have restored her physique back to just how we like it. And Hark, she grew it back just in time to thwart the revenge plot of a familiar forest dweller. What a gal!

Yet, was the barbarian bum ever really in jeopardy, or was it all a cheap ploy to get more audience participation? The world may never know. Yet, we’d like to thank you for the pouring out of hearts and the laying on of adulation. It’s nice to know that our audience likes viewing as much as we like drawing….certain things. Seeya next week!

The END is near!

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008 by luke

It has come to our attention that a specific area of Skadi’s anatomy has been receiving a disproportionate amount of attention. We wish to save the integrity of this comic, and redirect the audience’s focus away from Skadi’s buttocks, and on to the more mature aspects of the storyline. Thus, it has been decided by the powers that be… from this point on, Skadi’s “hind-end” will be henceforth and hereafter REMOVED! (as seen in the comic above)

Of course, a humble showing gratitude for the Barbarian Behind in the comments section will perhaps spark Skadi’s powerful regenerative properties into action. But that’s a big MAYBE….we’re VERY serious about this.
