What a stupid question, of course you do! Well, look no further than the talented David Gemmill and his new cartoon music video! Check it out HERE! (Be warned, the video is NSFW, and contains a fair amount of animated girly bits.) If you’re not aware of David from the comments and incredible fan art that he posts on DummComics, then you’ll want to check out his blog. The video that I’m linking to here is just the latest animation gem in Gemmill’s portfolio, which is full of really funny and beautifully drawn stuff. Be sure to check it out!

Tara Billinger is a 19 year old cartoonist from Santa Monica, California. She’s currently the youngest employee at Slave Labor Graphics since Jhonen Vasquez and is illustrating a graphic novel called “Adora and the Electric Elephant”, written by Chris Reilly. Watch for it towards the end of the year! Tara has had artwork published by both Tokyopop and Slave Labor Graphics, and is currently doing commissions in her spare time. She’s preparing to ship off to New York City this fall, where she’ll be attending college, majoring in the field of Animation.

We don’t usually talk about guest spots before the weekend, but we just can’t help but announce this one a little bit earlier. Starting this Saturday, Dumm Comics will be featuring an entire month of the amazing Tara Billinger and her incredible 4 part series, Dr. Scoops! You’ve been warned, so don’t miss out!
Contrary to popular belief, Mukpuddy isn’t just one guy, it’s 4 guys!
They came together 6 years ago after animation school and created Mukpuddy, “because we didn’t want to be a slave to anybody else’s watered down crap ideas… we wanted to make our own crap ideas!”
Some of that crap includes music videos, tv ads, kids books, websites, short films, comics and thier on-going series called Sparkle Friends, which plays within a children’s variety show in New Zealand called What Now and features “kid versions” of the presenters getting up to stupid stuff.
It’s that time of year again for the I Am 8-Bit artshow!! Sean and I am ready with some new marios and luigis. Come join us at the opening of show at World of Wonder in Hollywood 6650 Hollywood Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90028 tomorrow night.

L. Frank Weber is an amazingly talented cartoonist who currently resides in Brisbane, Australia. He works his days away as a 3D artist at a video game company called Pandemic studios. Yet, Weber is also an accomplished comic artist. He and Dave Roman have an excellent comic online that is also being published through platinum studios, called Alien circus. He’s currently working on another comic due out later this year called Bikini Cowboy (yes, it looks as good as it sounds!). You can check out some images from it (as well as a lot of other cool art) at Weber’s blog.

Enjoy the genius of L.F.W!
As you may have noticed, Earthward-Ho! has has been evolving lately. Much like the organisms that first gelled together in the primordial Earth to become something more than they once were, this strip has taken it’s first big step toward becoming more than just pond sludge and ocean scum.
Instead of the constantly changing erratic format, I’ve chose to standardize EWH! to a full comic book page layout. And in place of weekly throw away gags I’ve written an entire outline that will take Sam and his newfound alien pal Fiz on a continuing space adventure that will span the next several months. Oh, and there’s even a brand new title card!
Also, be sure to check out my interview by Jason E Anders of Fulle Circle Productions, where I spill the beans on what it’s REALLY like to work for cartoon big shots such as John K, Jorge Gutierrez, Gabe Swarr, Dave Thomas, and Dave Wasson.
