"A Cry For Help" by Gerald DeJesus
August 31st, 2010 by GabeThis is it, the definitive end to Big Pants Mouse. I saved Jerry's masterpiece as the final final final Big Pants. Why? Because it's all there. Like us all, Jerry has always had a soft spot in his heart for this little mouse, but unlike the rest of us, Jerry's heart is quite different.
Jerry is an amazing artist. You have seen his work and you didn't even know it!

My friend Tony introduced Jerry to me at a Carl's Jr. in '99. Tony wanted me to put in a good word for Jerry at Spumco. He was amazing, and we hired him for his flash expertise, but unbeknownst to me, I already "knew" Jerry.
See, some of us guys at Spumco had this contest called the "Ace Card". We would find the nastiest filthiest videos online and share them as our "ace card". Tony always seemed to have a HUGE amount of videos and would usually always win. But those times changed when Jerry started at Spumco. Jerry was Tony's secret supplier of depravity. If I would have known this, I would have told our boss that we needed to hire Jerry on his filth finding abilities alone!
Since then, I think I've worked with Jerry on every flash project I've done, including the Big Pants Mouse pilot at Disney. He is an amazing art director, bg designer, painter, animator, and all around great guy. Thanks for the final word Jerry, you put the final nail in Big Pant's coffin.
Thank you all for all the support over the years. Here's to the end of Big Pants and the start of Life In The Analog Age next week!

Seriously, it's actually kind of funny that Skadi decided to buy him. Was it because of a general ignorance of his uselessness as a servant or because she knew enough to know she couldn't eat him?
I'm still not entirely unconvinced that Skadi might be given to cannabalism in certain circumstances.
Anyway, it's great to have new Skadi. Thanks guys. I've been waiting for this all week.
I you're planning to make a plush toy don't include the odor (and the numerous medieval uncurable diseases) hehehehehe ^_^V
This week´s Skadi is really a pleasure for the eye. The colours are simply amazing. Each panel´s backgrounds are examples of wise choose of colours and good taste, and I really mean it. I´m so fed up with the artificial and dead look found on so many comics nowadays! Skadi proves computer-coloured comics can look real and gorgeous and today´s episode looks even better than its predecessors.
We finally learn the secret-origin (superhero jargon) of Diseasoid (a name whose suitability we learn today), this poor thing that looks so noble even though it shuould not, according to the species he belongs to.
The detail of the real meat in the third panel is great. It does not seem out of place at all even though it is sorrounded by drawings.
The man about to puke with a dead creature under his belt is great. Katie, the facial expressions in your drawings are hilarious.
And Skadi seems to be a quickly recognizable character with unmistakable features. The hair style and her half-naked buttocks proves my point.
Well, summing up: as you can guess, I love this comic. Katie, Luke: keep on doing the swell job you do. Top-notch material!
I am giddy with anticipation for the next installment!! In the meantime, I feel inspired once again to get out my tablet and draw somethin' really wacky.
Thanks everyone!
