Is the alien's speech inspired by beat stuff at all? It kind of reminds me of that "turn on, tune in, drop out" stuff that went with LSD in the 60's... Could be wrong though!
I am really liking this a lot more now that it's not a three-panel gag strip. I hope your coloring methods are pretty quick, because doing a full page every week is a lot of work; this is part of why I was willing to put my own full-page full-color comic on the back burner for most of the past year.
(1) Fiz's "wings" seem to be retractable (or something like a backpack?), his antennae can be combed out, and I don't even want to GUESS what a being with no apparent legs or arse wants with chairs. Maybe it ain't his ship.

This week sees the 13-part Strawberry's Quest come to an end. This was sort of an improv experiment in comic form: I wrote part one, and from their John and I took turns writing each part until the comic came to a "logical" conclusion. It was a lot of fun, and I like what we came up with. We won't be doing it again anytime soon, however. We've got other fish to fry. We'll do more multi-parters in the future, possibly just as long, but with the story figured out beforehand. In the meantime, we'll be here with some gag strips, though we're going to take a three-week break after Valentine's Day. We've got some incredibly awesome guest strips for those weeks, so look forward to them.

Great triangle panel - the one that cuts Fiz off. It's a wonderful close up, especially the way his strained eyes pop out.
