It's a nice imitation of the pointless, dull, meandering horsefart that is Tuesday around here, but there are problems:

(1) it's professional-looking
(2) it doesn't require a ****load of scrolling to get to the end
(3) it has a punchline

That's understandable, though. Even when setting out to parody that garbage, one can't sacrifice EVERY shred of one's dignity.

I know it's clueless. It's hard not to know. But still this is a great comic. I love how in panel 8 it seems like there's something good up there. Then in panel 11 that changes completely. Say what you want, but dumm comics are funny on many levels if you can see it. :P

I think I finally figured it out! "Sorry Guys" was trying to be "Gun Show" http://gunshowcomic.com/d/20090928.html , http://gunshowcomic.com/d/20090825.html but somehow either intentionally or accidentally refused to acknowledge pacing (I'm going with intentionally) and that's why it ended up being... like it was. Todays' Mech Lab is great though =:3

Sorry Guys was trying to be Sorry Guys. The pacing was the way it was because Dumm is a collection of ANIMATORS doing comics, and fuck the haters because it WORKED and worked WELL.

This is pretty much the last place I expected to see that dolphin. Awesome.

I'm not gonna lie, but your version of sorry guys is far more professional looking, no disrespect to david, but dave has got the great expressions that I don't think anyone can match. So in ways I like this better, and in others I really dig daves tuesday comic.

Normally such an out of place allusion would be hilarious....except for the fact that Sorry Guys just brings up bad feelings for me. It ruined the punchline for me. I still love Mech Lab, though, so pretty.

I think we all got a little green dolphin inside us.

It would appear that longdolphin is, indeed, rather long.

Sorry Guys was rather touch and go with me, but overall it really grew on me. I'll miss it. Great parody. ;]

I've always enjoyed Sorry Guys for its rather really dumm humor, and I enjoy Mech Lab because of its bright poppy colors and super clean lines. I would have probably liked Sorry Guys even more if it was cleaner, neater work (it looks so nice here!), but somehow I just don't think it would have fit the comic. Cute strip :)

I'm tired of people rippin' on Sorry Guys.Either you're just that dense and narrowminded or so full of yourselves you get a kick out of smelling your on crack from your ass being over your face all the time.If you honestly think you can do a better job at making a comic,then by all means do so,if not shut up and don't read it.It's probably a good thing David is moving on,he doesn't have to constantly keep putting up with morons trying to deface his work.It's not for everyone,that's for sure,and it would probably translate better as a cartoon,but he did what he did because it's what he loves to do.Shut the fuck ruining it for everyone else and go play in traffic.

Anyway I love this Friday's comic,nice lil tribute and the dolphin looks great drawn in that style =).
