August 31st, 2010 by GabeThis is it, the definitive end to Big Pants Mouse. I saved Jerry's masterpiece as the final final final Big Pants. Why? Because it's all there. Like us all, Jerry has always had a soft spot in his heart for this little mouse, but unlike the rest of us, Jerry's heart is quite different.
Jerry is an amazing artist. You have seen his work and you didn't even know it!
My friend Tony introduced Jerry to me at a Carl's Jr. in '99. Tony wanted me to put in a good word for Jerry at Spumco. He was amazing, and we hired him for his flash expertise, but unbeknownst to me, I already "knew" Jerry.
See, some of us guys at Spumco had this contest called the "Ace Card". We would find the nastiest filthiest videos online and share them as our "ace card". Tony always seemed to have a HUGE amount of videos and would usually always win. But those times changed when Jerry started at Spumco. Jerry was Tony's secret supplier of depravity. If I would have known this, I would have told our boss that we needed to hire Jerry on his filth finding abilities alone!
Since then, I think I've worked with Jerry on every flash project I've done, including the Big Pants Mouse pilot at Disney. He is an amazing art director, bg designer, painter, animator, and all around great guy. Thanks for the final word Jerry, you put the final nail in Big Pant's coffin.
Thank you all for all the support over the years. Here's to the end of Big Pants and the start of Life In The Analog Age next week!
Also, not that I was looking, but I notice one of the warrioresses has that distinctive Amazon style. I really hope she's not their from Skadi's previous actions, or there's likely to be more than Hell to pay if she gets free.

I love the demonette's graphitti-style arrow antennae. She looks like Marlo Meekins.
Skadi tried to throw that dagger right through her "area." That would've been an appropriate punishment for that blue molester ... had it worked.
Of COURSE Skadi's a virgin. I knew that. She's too focused on her Meat-Quest to worry about base urges. And I don't see why commenter 12 thinks Szeles' strip goes against that, since she ends up lonely in that one.
My only criticism is about the white pupils on black eyes. If they're just supposed to be black eyes with white highlights, that's cool, but ... I think when she's looking up at the sword, they're supposed to be white pupils on black eyes. But I don't think that works, because it just looks like black mouse eyes with white highlights. Maybe it would read better if there was a black pupil inside the white area. ??
I'm really loving the colors going on in this episode. And that demoness' floppy antennae horns are cute!
And oddly enough, Skadi's vestal condition doesn't surprise me that much.
I maintain that just 'cause she can pick the sword up, doesn't mean it'll get all magic-y for her.

16, thanks for your observations...I think you're right that the eye direction looks unclear. It's a bit late now to change them, but maybe I can tweak them a bit in the other comics and see how that works!
Also, just to clarify, the scary succubus demon lady isn't a caricature of Marlo...I would totally put Marlo in Skadi as a character, but I'd probably make her a pretty mermaid or something like that instead. :)
I think it's more likely she just has no interest in sex.
