I really enjoy Skadi. That being said, depending on how you look at it, and the definition of meat, some bugs can be considered meat.

panel 2 is completely adorable and curious. They live in a frozen north where pee freezes instantaneously. How are there bugs living with them? Do they burrow through the snow instead of dirt? Are they all covered in some kind of thick fur to keep their slimy bodies insulated?

Actually a lot of bugs most likely bury themselves into the permafrost or dirt to keep warm. Or may even attach themselves to an animal to survive. A quick search on Google.com will yield results on "Arctic Insects".

Something tells me Skadisisters don't eat of every meat. Skadi's dad is a beast, regardless of wether he's an edibel beast. How does he have such tiny daughters?!?

I'm guessing she's be banished for this and for the fact that eating of every beast, if I recall, is supposed to be a man thing. So that would be the real reason she'll be banished

These lil' Skadis are some of my favorites up so far! Way to go! The thick stumpy girl makes me laugh. And her father yelling in surprise is hilarious! I ate deep fried locusts once! Friend of mine had a snack container full of them and they were sickeningly crunchy but nicely sweet, and also very scary to eat.
