Ian Andersen is a student cartoonist from Houston
(his stuff is pretty frickin good)

Drawn by me in 2007, colored by Ben Anders very recently. His colors are pretty groovy, but man, I'm just not sure about my old linework.
(As a concerned adult, I feel that one of the most serious problems in our society is the lack of violence in cartoons. Kids are growing up to be wimps these days. Heck, when I was a kid, magic powered musclemen were fighting skull faced villians with swords, to say nothing of military heroes shooting wildly at terrorists and giant robots beating the crap out of each other! Kids today need to see that kind of completely irresponsible, hitting, kicking, and maiming! How can they be expected to grow up as sane adults if they don't get those tendencies out now?)
I guess I should get to the point about now.
I wrote when SHD first appeared that I wasn't sure how he would play out. Now I am. He's a good character. I look forward to seeing more of him.
Good work, Gabe. Keep it up.
On you side point, I whole-heartedly agree, what kind of kids will we have in 20 years if they aren't exposed to violence? A bunch of wusses that's who! I guess that's why video games are good for kids...
