Thanks for putting up with 4 weeks of Doodle Time, y’all. This break from comicking gave me just enough time to go through a divorce, find an apartment, move all my junk, get my new studio in order, and set up housekeeping well enough to live like a semihuman. So now I’m ready, I think, to get back to making comics! Next week, I’m aiming to put Zoo Laffs in storage (temporarily?), while I bring something NEW to Dumm Sundays. Wish me luck!

This week, Doodle Time continues. Big thanks to Bridget V., her kitties, and Camille Rose for participating!
I have a couple more photos from Zoo Laffs readers, which I’ll caricature in next week’s Doodle Time. But I’m hoping to return to storytelling the week after, so don’t send me any more of your photos. (Well, you can send me your photos if you want; just don’t expect me to draw you!)

I have a couple more photos from Zoo Laffs readers, which I’ll draw next week. Anybody else wanting to appear in Doodle Time, email me your photo, too: cgarrison [at] bham.rr.com .

Life is getting in the way of comics! Until all this blows over, let’s just have Doodle Time. Meaning, I’ll just post sketches like this for 2 or 3 weeks … or 4 … (???)
If you’ve never perused the archives of my sketch blog, and you’d like to see more doodles, check these out: 1988, 1992, 1996, 1999, 2006 (march), 2006 (september), 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010.
I’ve been doing party caricatures lately, like THIS. Want me to draw you in next week’s Doodle Time? Email your photo to me: cgarrison [at] bham.rr.com .

Not all comics are knee slappers, ladies and gentlemen. Some of them are ART!
Special thanks to Zoo Laffs guest artist Dux! Check out her work on instagram/dux.

Wanna be a Zoo Laffs guest artist? Read my thoughts on the matter HERE. (If you’re into it, please try to get me something sooner instead of later, so I can run it before I start up another long form story arc.) . . . Plus, now consider that you could also draw an Inanimate Antics guest strip, if’n you’re that way inspired.

Possibly the last time we’ll see Tatiana!
Also, I’m still working on a 49-panel strip that I want to put up all in one go. Hopefully soonish!

I’m keeping to short strips right now, while I try to work on a real long one, which I want to post all in one week.

Oh, and Jakey the Jerk, #1, got its fifth very nice review, over at Comix Tribe. :)

Today’s strip is a True Life Yuck Yuck, inspired by writer and wit, J’Mel Davidson. Check out his THRACKADOOM.com.
