This week’s page is a bit shorte than usual, because I had a very busy week. I inked and colored it yesterday. Was really hard, but am happy with the result.
I try to get a colored page done each week this time. This one was still colored by me.
This week I introduce one of the main villians of the SWEFS. Wuerg McLack.
Wuerg’s father was one of the past Naknak nominees, he was the only one who abused his position and wants to get his son into it.
More villians will get introduced in this storyline. To give a little collection of some of the villians, here an older drawing I did:
Hey, the title kinda makes a little more sense now! Next week, something a little different perhaps. Or perhaps not. We shall see.
I ran out of time to perfect that Boris Johnson voice but hopefully I did ok. If you don’t know who Boris Johnson is, he’s just another bumbling sitcom character we have over here.
A strip within a tie within a comic strip, I guess…
Sometimes I wonder how I come up with this stuff.
Anyway, have some non-related Seth and Poncho stuff (there will be on the next weeks): I’ve been doing a Mad Men fan art since I realized that there is some pretty challenging faces to draw in the show. Still not satisfied but I think it’s getting there. I’m cartooning my favorite characters and the ones I consider the most important/remarkable.
See ya next week with a two-page comic, starring your second favorite cartoon duo.
(Click to see it a bit biggahrg.)
This week’s page is a special page and has nothing to do with the ‘The Election’ storyline.
When you read this page you might know why I made it. I had it in my mind back in 2011 when I was doing the webcomic and my grandpa died somwhere in the process.
Since I continue the comic here on Dumm I needed to do this one, specially 2 days before my grandpa’s death date the 24th.
Short one this week but I still managed to slip a reference in. Panel 3 is Chris Tarrant who is/was/is that even on anymore the presenter of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in the UK. High profile divorce case a few years back. So it’s an old joke to emphasise that the machine is old? I GUESS??
In other news I have a new actual physical comical book out if that’s your bag. Red Fox Summer Funzies is 52 full colour pages of Pirate Monkeys, the undersea kingdom of the shrimpanzees, ill fated romance, and other such aestival activities! Featuring bonus comix by cool folks Sarah Graley, Isaac Lenkiewicz and Josh Shepherd. If you’re in the UK you can buy it from me at cons and whatnot, and if you’re elsewhere you can buy it here: http://redmondjshop.bigcartel.com/product/red-fox-summer-funzies-1
