About

We at Dumm Comics are dedicated to bringing you our patented "Daily Dumms for Everyones", a special blend of daily comics brought straight to your home or workplace through the magic of the Internets. Dumm Comics features the talents of Gabe Swarr, Sean Szeles, Katie Rice, Luke Cormican, Ricky Garduno, and Fred Osmond, along with our esteemed web master, Matt Gadbois. This revolutionary site was born on the fateful day when we like-minded cartoonists put our heads together and decided it was time to branch out from studio work and see what we could make independently. All six of us share a love of funny and free entertainment, but have different influences, styles, and outlooks, thus producing five unique cartoon creations. As our guest, we invite you to partake of our fruits, and hope that you will enjoy the site on a daily basis!

Big Pants Mouse

by Gabe Swarr

Big Pants Mouse is the pack rat with the magic pants. He loves to use these pants to collect all kinds of "treasures" most of which are worthless to the rest of us. Big Pants Mouse started as a character on an annual Christmas card in 1996. Since then, the strip has been published in "Animation Blast" magazine, "Komikwerks", and 2 full length comics released published by Dumm Comics in 2001, and 2002.

Gabe Swarr is a 10 year veteran to the animation industry. A Spumco alumni, he has worked for Cartoon Network, Disney, Wildbrain, Acme Filmworks. He is currently directing "El Tigre" at Nickelodoen, and is one of the founders of "I Am 8 Bit Productions".

Let me tell you of the days of high adventure... Hailing from the far northern wilderness, I introduce Skadi, a barbarian lass on an epic quest to eat of every beast that roams the land, sails the skies, and swims the seas. Join Skadi and her trusty slave, Diseasoid, every Wednesday as they traverse exotic lands and stumble into countless dangers, with only her brawn and blade to rely on.

Katie Rice is a cartoonist who is known for her funny cute girl drawings. She got her start at Spumco, and has since worked on numerous shows at Disney TV and Nickelodeon, doing layouts, designs, and storyboards. Earthward-Ho!

by Fred Osmond

Earthward-Ho! focuses on a boy named Sam and his obsession with Astronomy, aliens, spaceships and anything "outer space." Sam idolizes Carl Sagan and believes in the good work being done by the S.E.T.I. (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute.

Fred has worked in the animation industry for almost 10 years. During that time he has worked as a Character Layout Artist, Designer, Storyboard Artist and Assistant Director for such studios as Disney, Spumco, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon.

1930 Nightmare Theatre

by Ricky Garduno

Kimbo is a little guy who does all kinds of things. First conceived of in 1994 (during a useless Biology class), further developed in 1996 (in "Animation School"), pitched as a cartoon series in 2001 (what was I thinking?!) Kimbo's tragic misadventures finally saw print in 2003's Komikwerks volume 2 anthology. Oh, and also one time a nerd was seen wearing a Kimbo button on the T.V. show "Blind Date."

Ricky Garduno has been a storyboard artist and/or storyboard supervisor for Warner Bros, Disney, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network. He co-created an amazing animated short which now sits hidden away on a very glamorous shelf, deep within the Disney vaults.
