Last Monday I lost Skippy. He’d been sick for awhile, but I made sure he was spoiled and got to spend a lot of time with his friends. He was happy and the last day was peaceful. Always next to me, even at the drawing desk, and that’s where he chose his last moments. It’s going to be hard for awhile, he was about to turn 12, I’ve had him since he was kitten.
Skippy was a very good and important buddy, always attentive and the heart inside him was bigger than the one outside. He is the inspiration for Pumpkin, and I’m so fortunate I was his friend.

Sorry for these inconsistent updates lately, I’ve been so danged busy lately, but we have a new update that’s just about done, but I’ll leave that for next week so I can get caught up.
See you soon!

For the first time since the comic started, I’m having to skip a chapter update. Have some personal stuff I need to spend time on this week, and I don’t want to rush on an important page when my heart and brain are elsewhere. Harpy will be back next Monday.
In the mean time, the cute image above is by Kathryn Marusik, (thank you!), and have an old concept drawing of Opal’s family.
Take care everyone, see you Monday.

Bang goes that new years resolution to not blow deadlines.
We’ll be back bowling with Satan soon but I wanted to finally draw this story I wrote for new years 2016.
Coloured and tweaked version up later in the week with any luck!
