We’ll be riiiiiight Back!
Hahaha, it’s like I’m really rereading Wicked WIckle!
+1. As much as I don’t want to discourage Dumm artists.
But seriously, burger guy transformed over 3 months ago.
Wow no kidding it really was 3 months ago, meaning this story line has been going for like 4 months and we’ve seen like half a fight scene.
Are you fucking kidding me?! No, I should have seen this coming. Everyone else on Dumm can keep up with the pace. Don’t even bother coming with these “next week” until you have something worth showing.
I come here to read the comments more than the comic these days… GG WW 2.0, at least Wickle was good for a while, this comic had very bad tempo and felt almost insulting in terms of the grade school humour and all.
You mean you don’t *like* insulting grade school humour? That’s weird, because this comment section is full of it and you keep coming back.
Shit like this makes me wish I could subscribe to individual RSS feeds for the Dumm Comics that are actually good (FRS and Taboose; would have formerly put Skadi on that shortlist but realtalk Skadi’s outstayed her welcome by a good few years by this point).
I still like Skadi. It’s not as good as it used to be, but it has its moments still, and mostly updates regularly.
After your job you should make this comic your next priority in your life. Make sure you have a minimum of **four panels per week**. No more “waiting” messages. It’s taking too long. If it means not doing anything else fun for the week, you should do it.
Nice to see you’ve prioritized everything for him. 1. Work 2. This Comic 3. Internet with which to post this comic 4: Food and Shelter 5. Family
Work pays for 3 and 4 and I don’t know if he has dependents. If he can’t handle the deadline he shouldn’t be on Dumm comics.
It’s true, the people who started this site set a great standard. Their desire to get their artwork out there, seen by as many people as possible, was enough motivation to meet a weekly “deadline” that they set for themselves. That’s just it, though, they set it for themselves — not for you, not for me. They do this as much for them as they do for us. With fans like you around, I don’t think I’d want to bother at all. I want better too, but being a douche just because you feel entitled (and why, exactly, do you feel entitled, are you paying for this?) isn’t going to get things moving any faster. I don’t particularly like Wednesdays here, either, but I’m not going to go making ridiculous demands in some lame attempt to motivate the artists. Maybe make a point of avoiding Wednesdays here because you don’t appreciate “maybe next week” messages. I usually do. It’s certainly not worth the time to come here and complain…
I say as I complain about your ridiculous, arrogant posts. Just another fine reminder of why I need to quit reading the comments here: too many assholes. Good day, sir.
Kindly read MTB’s comment on October 2, 2013 if anything. I “pay” for this with time used to visit the website. Consider the feelings of the people who want to be featured on Dumm Comics. Consider that every other artist on here has been able to do one comic per week. If you post on the internet, you are writing/drawing for others, but especially on a website that does aim to promote itself.
It certainly is worth taking the time here to complain, or how else will they know how to improve? My demand is quite reasonable.
Oh man! I remember those crazy singing ad bumpers :D
Looking forward to seeing the sexy ghost again :D
I like the comic alright enough, I don’t see why everyone is whining about the infrequent updates. The artist has a life he has to take care of, and if he can’t handle the comic anymore then someone else will take up the torch :p
Even though he won’t say it, it probably frustrates him to no end to have to do this to his readers…
I don’t know about the other people around here but i’m pretty sure there are some people who would want a spot on Dumm Comics that would deserve to get it and EIN is just sitting there and not posting anything week after week.
It started out to be promising in the beginning just like wicked wickle but it was to much for the creator to keep up with the schedule just like EIN now.
Just to let you know, i think this is my first comment on this site. Usually i don’t comment on the comics.
Yeah that’s pretty much what I said. Either he’ll go or whoever has control over the daily spots will replace him. Wicked Wickle wasn’t there forever.
It’s stupid to see these people blowing up over this. There are MILLIONS of other free comics on the web, go look at them. Or go buy some comics whatever.
Good for you for commenting. I don’t do it very much either, but I try to stay as constructive as possible.
But you can argue that the readers need to communicate to the artist “hey, if you don’t update then there’s a problem”.
Remember when Ricky did 3 comics a week? Remember when Dumm had standards not this “upload a comic when I feel like it” bs?
And then he died.
Give up, chum. Let someone who knows how to deliver have a shot on Dumm.
Yeah, sure you’ll be back.
jesus fucking christ just get someone new already
just post the god damn twerk cat comic each week in it’s place and it’ll be better than this
I vote that the author of Ein retire his spot in favor of this guy http://fungasm.deviantart.com/
They also did the recent guest comic for FRS, I really like it!
that would be cool. if he wants the spot that is. would also be cool if they made a vote for the monday and wednesday spots.
I’ll admit this was pretty shitty.
