wow, the spider really loves Diseasy ^^
Back in college, the dorm was crawling with spiders.
My room-mate took Skadi’s approach — and crushed every spider he saw, without hesitation. My attitude mirrored Diseasoid’s; I would either ‘catch-and-release’, or (more often) simply leave them alone (which I still do, to this day).
My room-mate would often awaken to discover a spider-bite from the previous night.
I, OTOH, was never bitten once, during the entire year I lived there.
It’s actually very, very common for people to think they’ve been bitten by a spider when what they actually have is a bacterial infection or an allergic flare-up. Arachnologists go so far as to say more than nine in ten supposed spider bites are false alarms, even when doctors diagnose them as such!
I think Diseasey was also concerned that Skadi was going to smash herself in the arm with a rock.
Somebody has to watch out for her, she’s not quite right in the head…
Probably the funniest Skadi comic in a long time! Loved it :D
UGH SPIDER! KILL IT! Skadi’s instincts were right on the money!
Amen to that.
No, sorry. People who kill spiders are assholes. Almost no spider is dangerous to humans, and those that are only VERY rarely bite, when absolutely forced to do so.
You should have the same respect for spiders as any other animal. They’re innocent, beneficial, beautiful living things.
Strong week for Dumm.
Diseasoid has a cute voice
Until you realize he actually sounds like Ed Asner.
Ughhhh, spiders, smash the damn things, they give me the creeps. The mall pet store has a tarantula for sale. Who in their right mind would buy that for a pet and why? To see it eat crickets? Yuck!
Every life should matter? But they’re carnivores! They kill to eat ….nom, nom, nom, nom!
My first reflex is to swat, look to see if its gone and if its not, reflex 2 kicks in–run screaming and tearing my clothes off.
oh what a tangled web we weave
