This is not just a joke, it’s actually THE END of RAD RAZ.
I decided to step down from the Saturday slot a few weeks ago in order to pursue some new projects that I’ve been unable to begin with the RAZ deadline every week.
I’ve loved being a part of Dumm. I’m thankful to the Dumm family for inviting me in and allowing me to experiment with the RAZ universe for about two and a half years. I’m thankful for Ricky Garduno. He invited me to do guest RAZ strips all those years ago, and it all started with that. I’m thankful for the limited time I was able to spend with him, and still replay his advice in my head when I’m working on comics and cartoons. I’m thankful for the readers who have stopped in to check RAZ out, leaving comments and feedback for me to analyze and agonize over. It’s been a fantastic chapter in my life, but it’s time for me to move on and let someone else give it a whirl.
As a finale, I’m giving you a choice, as it were, between two parallel universes of RAZ. If you’re one of the readers who, over the 2+ year run of RAZ, never came around to the comic and constantly rooted for RAZ’s failure and death, this one’s for you! Soak it in. Enjoy it. RAZ and all of his clones are dead and burned alive, never to return to the earth. Wally is still alive, though, presumably in a movie theater sitting next to a skull.
If you liked the comics and would like to live in a universe where maybe there is more to this particular storyline than meets the eye… follow me over to the RAD RAZ tumblr (radraz.com) and I’ll be posting an additional 5th page to this storyline in a few weeks, and will continue to post additional RAD RAZ comics and animations at random intervals (no more one-a-week comics).

to be honest, me too. there were a few strips that i enjoyed, and it had a good run while it lasted, but recently, rad raz has been getting a bit stale.
thank goodness it ended when it did, there’s no telling how large those shoulder’s would’ve gotten if left unchecked.
As a Raz-fan who read it back in the days when it was on killerpop, I’m sad to see him go. What ever the case is, good luck on your future projects!

After seeing the leak of a new artist on yesterday’s FRS I was afraid Skadi would leave it’s slot, as there’s been not actual strips in 3 weeks and it may continue like that. It’s still a pity, since this comic was kind of finding it’s style and rhythm, but well, better this than Skads.
Well, since I was one of those who enjoyed your comic, thank you for your colorful works in the past few years, I hope to see more of it in the next few years…

I’ve loved the art of this strip, I’ve liked seeing it change as you worked on new projects, that was really cool. I only ever enjoyed the content of it maybe… twice, though. So, I’m glad to see it go. I’m one of the people who has no use for a rad raz tumblr, but if you have a general art tumblr where you post lots of your various work, I bet I wouldn’t be the only person interested in that link!

Welp, this is kind of depressing. Well at least you aren’t completely abandoning Raz though it sucks to see that you’re leaving Dumm. Hopefully, the next artist will be able to fill that Raz shaped whole in my heart. Seriously though, I need to get that shit checked.

Rad raz and skadi were the only reasons I came to dumm comic after the Monday slot started going downhill (altough i can’t blame David, comics take FUCK ton of time). I always liked it, and I am really sad to see this go, but if the new patron is anything like Robert Iza, your warm seat will be occupied by a butt that will sit and draw quality comics too. Have a good one Jack, and I will check out the new website :)

Jack, I’ma miss this comic so much. great ending, tho. you definitely did some of the best art that this site ever saw, and that’s a pretty major accomplishment.

Krokodyl and bath salts is a recipe for an actual zombie apocalypse… I just don’t want to imagine what a survivor of that cocktail would look like.
Nice ending. I’ll miss it. Not as much as I miss the goblin comic, but I’ll miss it nevertheless.
I’m glad someone knew what krokodil/crocodile and bath salts were and could appreciate how horrifying the combo would be. I’m sure everyone knows of bath salts after that face eating incident, but if anyone wants to be thoroughly grossed out, look up the side effects of krokodil. I figured only the most insane drugs are powerful enough to make RAZ feel anything these days.

I think the early “Raz hate” had dissipated when the comic went into its groove. So I think the recovery worked out :)
Sad to see Rad Raz ending – it was awesome, and I can’t believe so many people hated on it… >_> I personally only come to Dumm for Skadi and Raz :P
