You fucking piece of shit, you go suck a bag of dicks. I wasn’t talking to you was I?
Recognition is recognition, no matter what the circumstances are. To a little girl who might have a shitty home life it could have been the world.
I won’t bother telling you to fuck off, I’ll just hope your home burns while you and anyone else in the building are sleeping. Karma is awesome like that.
Clam down please everybody. Be nice to each other, these no need for any of this. Especially not in the comments section of such a heartwarming webcomic.
Heh such is the way of contests, even if you make something Picaso like doesn’t mean you’re an automatic shoo-in. You can never predict what the judges want.
Haha I like how you rise up in anticipation, chest out, ready to strut forward and claim your prize.
Let me guess, she won for creativity (perhaps something like firetruck colored to look like the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo? Flowers and colors everywhere) while you strove for artistic accuracy.
I was never sure whether I should’ve been angry about stuff like that. I appreciated the “creativity” of some works, but I thought skill was more important (and both together was king). So when a glob of colors won out over a perfectly depicted sun, it was always kind of a letdown.
Ha! li dig the vigor young you is showing all throughout this. it’s crazy how cocky kids can be! you really nailed the ‘why didn’t they hand the trophy to me? i absolutely deserved it’ moment. scarily accurate to how young-me felt when i lost in events like this. great work, man. i love this page.
Haha! Slow clap! I feel for you. This happened to me in a poster making contest when I was 11. The prize was a trip to hongkong and I made it to the final 10 out of hundreds. Honestly thought I did the best job and the kid who won made the work that i thought was the sloppiest. I was hung up over it for years because he went on to be a locally celebrated “art kid” while I got an airline travel bag.
Woah I hope you aren’t going to be a dick about it. Chances are she didn’t get recognized very often, which could have made her a bitch to begin with.
Geezus, it’s a story set in the past. And who thinks fake-recognition is a good thing? I hope that’s not what happens next.
Also fuck off.
I guess you’ll have to wait an see what happens :)

Just so he’s clear on what you want him to do, should he suck on each individual dick contained in the bag? Or just suck on the bag itself.

Take it easy, it’s only a comic :) Besides, what happens next doesn’t have anything to do with her recognition :)

I’m pretty sure she did a good job. I think I rushed it, but I just can’t remember. I just remember being super shocked and angry.
