Maybe I am strange, but I don`t understand the gender of protagonist. From what I see it is him, right?… In the same time, first panel made me think it is she for some reason. Maybe beacuse of the pink color!
Great artwork, as usual. Your pencil art looks so crisp & clean! It’s amazing. I hope there will be girls in the comic. I would be sad to see that special area of your talents unused.
Oops, I forgot to comment on the great (!) icon you created for this comic. It really pops! I sense a whiff of Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch” as inspiration, but that may prove mistaken. I too read the kitten as male, though no indications are given in the comic, unless the sniff-panel counts as such. (Splendid sound effect, with all the dots at different heights. I like that.)

I’m looking forward to the next installment :D I like how the Bzorcher made a Bzorch sound XD It reminded me of an old TMNT comic where Raph drank a mystery drink in another dimension named “Zup-kuk”, and then promptly made a “Zup-kuk” sound and looked blitzed XD Keep up the good work!

For the time being at least, Our Heroes is just going to look like this: penciled, with the occasional colored pencil spot color thrown in, when I want to give a little more info (i.e., this cat is red). But as I said in the news post, maybe I or some others will ink and paint it later.
You need to ink this nice and good. I feel like sci-fi always needs color unlike ‘everyday life’ comics. I also like that there will be not much girls as before. When both protagonist and antagoinst are male (as in todays comic) I like it better. Little treat to satisfy a homo like me.

There are some girl characters, yes. You can see one in today’s news post. But there’s very little of the girl trouble you get in Zoo Laffs.

That’s an expression! Go it alone. Go AT it alone would have another meaning.
