Thanks SO MUCH, everybody who contributed to this fantastic batch of pinups! I wheedled these artists until I finally ended up with even more contributions than I got for the Kablooey!!! pinup gallery.
Andrew Willmore even did TWO of them! After that first one, I made an off-handed remark about how I thought people would do more pinuppy pinups, like Priscilla as a sexy Christmas elf, Holly as a French maid, etc. So Andrew decided to actually make it a reality!
And Dan Sills really outdid himself, with his homage to the cover from the cult classic video game Maniac Mansion.

Oh, and … I told you last week about the three nice reviews I’ve gotten for Jakey the Jerk, #1. I guess I should quit tooting my own horn about now, but here’s a fourth one — a glowing Stumptown Trade Review review.
Wow, look at all those great strips. Honestly when Zoo laffs first showed up on Dumm Comics I didn’t care for it much, but since you started doing the ongoing stories I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s a lot easier to get into and you get a better idea of who the characters really are with an ongoing story arc. Sorry Skadi, this is definitely my favorite comic on here now.
In the first one, it bugs me to see OP with hair on his chest and also flesh colored skin, cuz to me he’s all Onion, and the top of his head is merely the ruffling onion skin as it splits at the top, like a real onion. I love: “Bizarro Onion Puss”, esp his face. The way OP is biting his tongue in the ‘extra onions’ one. Priscilla’s dialog and OP’s face in Collin’s. In Alex’s, it could’ve been funny to do a bit for the middle row where OP is heartbroken, but then it turns out Fat Chick was only crying because she just licked an onion, but yeah that would disrupt the flow. In Daniels’, is that a large smiling winking onion slice he’s drinking upon? If so, it should have concentric circles like a real onion slice, instead of the current hatchey lines. Love the idea though. Oh God, OP’s face in Arthur’s is so terribly creepy, I want to drink some green tea, hit the gym, and eat a light summer salad, just to cleanse myself of his grimace, even the squeezed eyes are spot on. It is, therefore, excellent characterization and I laud his efforts. Balsley’s is incredible, it seems like the kind of gag the Flintstones would do, if they had no moral compass. I like the alternate takes people have on OP, like in Matt’s. Dan’s MM tribute is great, too, down to the tagline. Bravo to everyone, this was some great fan art.
That last one has GOT to be a Maniac Mansion reference.
