Lotsa people have been calling them “fairy larvae” but the Fairy Queen called them spores, like a fungus, or plant seeds. That’s in line with their plantlike appearance and the fact that the newly hatched queen from the last page looked like a fully-formed fairy…this is my first comment on this site, and I wanted to put my most competent foot forward. Hope it worked.
