The way I look at it, deadlines mean work, hopefully paid work. That means that extraordinarily talented artists like Luke and Katie are working and earning money. That’s a GOOD thing. Personally I am pretty happy to get free comics every week from such talents. And if they miss a week or two here and there, that means their eating. I’m fine with that.
