Luke is a fantastic artist, but this story seems to just plod along like nobody involved really cares for it. I feel like it’s gone as far in a year as some comics on this site go in a single strip.
Never mind that the characters themselves seem quite uninterested. I really liked the concept for Wickle, but there’s just a real lack of passion or follow-through that I feel in this comic.
Man, Wicked Wickle would make an incredibly awesome book which would feature on the tip of my favorites… but it really DOES crawl as a webcomic. Story-driven comics suffers in a page-a-week format.
i realy like this comic and all, but i wish there would be a little more happening in it from week to week.
it does seem kinda empty at times dosen’t it

It looks like it may start picking up again now though. There’s one of those eye-square things.
TROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Enough talk! More action!
I imagine all of those Trom-seeking-jailer-things sound like Michael Dorn.

I don’t know why exactly but I have always read the angel’s dialog in Michael Dorn’s voice.
