Y’all gotta see this amazing video of the Southern White-faced Scops Owl. When he sees a larger owl, he puffs himself up to make himself look bigger. That’s cool, but lots of animals do that, right? The part I love is, when he sees a MUCH larger owl, he sucks his feathers in, stands perpendicular to his enemy, and squints his eyes, trying to look like he’s just a branch. Super awesome.
