Dear readers.
I find myself going through the most difficult time of my life. I plan to do a lot of self-searching and self-reflecting in the coming months and I will be unable to continue the comic. I need to do a lot of work on myself on the path to becoming a healthy and complete person. I feel that sometimes the themes of the comic and the way I behave online misrepresent who I really am. So I need to begin to change my mindset.
Thanks to everyone for reading, from the bottom of my heart. You have been part of some of the happiest times of my life.

I hadn’t seen anything from you in about a week or so it seems, and this morning when I checked Dumm, as per my ritual of going through bookmarks, I noticed nothing was up yet and I started wondering if something was wrong. This is sad to hear. Not the end of the comic, but of you. I like Kimbo a lot, but life is more important than a comic. You know I’ve been going through shit times, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, so best of luck to you man.

As someone who had the most important part of his life fall apart in the last two weeks, I encourage you to pick yourself up and fight for your own continued existence. It’s really pretty easy; we’re each the end product of about 3.8 billion years of practice at it.
The comic has been great. Please don’t erase its online presence.

For what it’s worth, I’ve never seen the comic as somehow being representative of you — I know plenty of good, friendly, loving people with a bit of black humor on the side. On the other hand, if you don’t feel your heart is in the comic anymore then I think you SHOULD end it while it’s still great and awesome. Just remember you created something really good, and be proud of it.
