You can’t just BEAT terrorism out of humans. Right? That’d be like trying to get six billion people to stop playing with yo-yos or something. Some of them are just gonna do it, no matter what! I guess you have to learn to ignore it somewhat, and just hope it simmers down. While at the same time cutting down on those things that make people want to terrorize you. : /
While one can stop a particular group, i.e. Al Qaeda I agree that the objective to “end all forms of terrorism everywhere on the globe” is not feasible.
Disagree. It took the US 10 years to finally strike a legitimate blow back to Al Qaeda. The effects of 9/11 are still strong in America even 10 years later. 9/11 greatly outdoes the death of Bin Laden.
The winning side brought the mightiest nation in the world to its knees with just 3 airplanes and less than 3,000 lives lost. Due to 9/11, America decided to embark on a wild spending spree in order to ‘secure their borders’ and ‘dismantle attacks’ that didn’t make it any more secure. They went to fight 2 pointless wars that collapsed their financial system. They accepted the reduction of their civic liberties in order to ‘be safe’.
The biggest skyscraper in the world was built in Dubai in less than 4 years. 10 years later, where is the replacement for the Twin Towers, that could have shown the Islamists that whatever they tried to destroy could be rebuilt?

I’ve always found USA’s patriotism uncanny…I mean…the whole country has an ego so inflated, it could rival the sun in helium content. Why they can’t be an okay country like the others? Typical bratty kid that wants to be better than the others but just looks bad.
