Marco just went all the way to the top of my favorites! Not that was hard.
Also: It’s so cute that Marco’s now pretending to be doing this for Josh’s sake (especially the way he conflates “success” with “happiness”) when all he gives a crap about is his personal success and his issues with Strawby. (I’m sure we all remember that Josh HAD a girlfriend without an identity crisis. She ditched him after he bought her rocket skates.)
I was kind of thinking along the same lines. What does Marco mean Josh deserves success (but NOT happiness)? He really wants the BAND to be a success, and by extension himself. I don’t think he gives a frog’s behind about Josh, except what Josh can do for him. Marco, I name thee hypocrite.
Of all the webcomics out there to start taking on real-life messages, this was nowhere near the top of the list. Came out of nowhere. I’m engrossed, though!
