Zoo Laffs comes to you from beautiful Birmingham, Alabama — a historic cradle of the Civil Rights movement, infested with kudzu and surrounded by a lush, almost tropical rain forest.
On Wednesday, April 27th, hundreds of vicious tornados touched down, all over the South. It was the second deadliest onslaught of twisters in U.S. history. So far, there’s a death toll of 345 in the southern states, leaving thousands homeless and a million without electricity. Alabama was the hardest hit.
My family and friends are okay. But if you can spare a little something for those who are so badly in need of help, please don’t hesitate.
