3 years ago, our small group of animation artists and close friends founded Dumm Comics as a showcase for our personal projects. Long-time contributor Matt Gadbois (Dumm’s “fifth Beatle”) created a great-looking website, from scratch, which served us perfectly for many years.
Matt moved on to other projects, and without a webmaster we were left unable to make any real changes or adjustments to the site. We often worried that if there was ever a serious problem, we would have no way to fix it. So Gabe took it up on himself to rebuild the entire site in WordPress so that we’d have full control. It was no small feat, considering that we all have day jobs, on top of producing weekly content for Dumm. With Gabe’s hard work, and a last-minute assist from Mr. Gadbois, we were finally able to transfer every single one of the old comics into the new site.
I’d personally like to thank Gabe for providing us with this amazing forum. It was Gabe’s idea, after all, to put this team together in the first place. I can’t thank him enough for everything he has done. I’d also like to thank Luke, Katie, Kyle, John, Jack, and all the artists who have contributed to Dumm over the years. I’ve never met a more talented, prolific, and responsible group of artists, and I’ll always feel lucky to be a part of this. Dumm Comics has changed my life, and revitalized my career. To me it will always seem like nothing short of a miracle.

In the end, this is all for you guys, the readers. We thank all of you for your patience over these last couple days of temporary website ugliness, and as always your loyalty to Dumm. You are truly the driving force behind all of this work.
I love the characters and comics here, and I still believe that dumm was one of the best sites on the internet I’ve ever found. I should be thanking YOU GUYS for providing such great free entertainment.
Also I like the way the new layout is looking, and if it can get the last few ugly wrinkles out it will be perfect (example: clicking any of the faces sends me to a weird archive thing).
I’ve been following you guys’s comics ever since your site was first announced on Cartoon Brew, and it’s been a favorite place to stop in every day I have a chance. I’m glad you’re all keeping it up, and the new site looks great! I can definitely promise that as long as you guys keep posting stuff, I’ll be here to read it. THANK YOU so much for all of the wonderful work!!! :D

1. It would be nice if the letters of the days (Monday, …) were bigger (like in the old version)
2. It would be nice if you could get to the comment text field using the “tab”-button
An odd issue I noticed is when you click the heads on the top now, instead of taking you to the comic viewer like it was doing, it takes you to the update page, with a thumbnail of the comic.
